MPL launches new campaign with Virat Kohli to promote player safety and security

MPL, the digital gaming platform that focuses on mobile esports, has recently introduced a new campaign called “Darr Ko Hatao, Bada Khel Jao.” The initiative features the platform’s brand ambassador, Virat Kohli, and aims to demonstrate the strong security measures in place to protect the interests of MPL players, enabling them to play without fear.

The promotional video features multiple versions of the former Indian cricket captain, Virat Kohli. While they may appear similar at first glance, only one of them is the real Kohli, with the others being replicas. As each avatar enters the MPL Arena, only the authentic Kohli is allowed to pass, emphasizing that only legitimate players can participate in the MPL arena.

This campaign is a continuation of MPL’s player-first approach, highlighting its commitment to providing a safe and secure gaming experience that players can trust and enjoy. The company has implemented various programs in this regard, including a global Bug Bounty program that rewards security researchers up to INR 10 lakhs for identifying a valid vulnerability on MPL.

Furthermore, MPL has taken bold steps to ensure the fair play of its games. The company has banned over a million user accounts that did not comply with its rules and attempted to manipulate gameplay results unfairly. The company uses best-in-class technology practices to detect fraudulent accounts at a granular level, including identifying the devices used to create the accounts.
