Renowned YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, fell victim to a major cyberattack on Wednesday night, with both his YouTube channels being hacked. The cyber attackers targeted his BeerBiceps channel and his personal channel, renaming them to include references to Tesla, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump.
In a shocking move, the hackers not only changed the names of the channels to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024” and “@Tesla.event.trump_2024”, but also deleted all his original content, including interviews and podcasts. The videos were replaced with older streams from events featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
This cyberattack is reminiscent of a similar incident earlier this year involving the Supreme Court of India’s YouTube channel, which also faced hacking issues. Allahbadia, known for his highly popular podcast series The Ranveer Show, has hosted several high-profile personalities including Priyanka Chopra, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dr. S Jaishankar, and Gary Vaynerchuk. His content spans topics such as business, health, spirituality, and finance.
Fans of the YouTuber expressed their concerns on social media, and Allahbadia has yet to comment publicly on the situation. It is unclear at this stage if or when his channels will be restored. Cybersecurity experts have emphasized the increasing threat of such attacks on high-profile online personalities and platforms.
